Chrysler Town & Country Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Chrysler Town & Country cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. In September the average price per vehicle is $20,993. During October the price went trough a strong deflation till $16,878. The following two months (November, December) the selling price went through a devaluation of -10 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from $17,988.5 to $18,229 during January and February.
The average price for Chrysler Town & Country has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2008 and 2012, the average price is $8,748.2. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2008 ($7,919) moving up till ($10,869)in 2012. During the next two years (2013, 2014) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 77 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 7 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample ($16,555) and the the last two years that were studied (2015, 2016) with a price of $17,644.
