Honda CR-V Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Honda CR-V cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. The average price in January was of $40,095. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at $38,734 during February. During the following two months (March, April) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 239 % from $39,414.5 to $133,740. The average price has had spectacular rise of 143 % with an average price of $86,577.25 during the previous 4 months and $210,411 during the most recent months in May and June.
The average price for Honda CR-V has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2015, the average price is $11,491.41. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" ($2,474) moving up till ($41,315)in 2015. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 408 %. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -21 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample ($48,245.5) and the the last two years (2018, 2019) with a price of $38,138.5.
