The selling price for Toyota Celica cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. In September the price for a car is $8,415 increasing till $9,185 in October. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from $8,800 to $8,641.5. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -45 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from $8,720.75 to $4,786.5.
The average price for Toyota Celica has become more expensive in recent years. During "before 2000" and 2001, the average price was $3,912.67. During this period, prices pretty much remained constant. During the next two years (2002, 2003) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 24 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 6 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years.
